SAP ISU FSM Technical Consultant

Role Overview

• We are looking for an experienced SAP ISU FSM Technical Consultant with strong expertise in SAP IS-U, SAP FSM, Proaxia FSM Connector, and SAP technical development. The ideal candidate should possess strong Utilities domain knowledge and hands-on experience in SAP FSM implementations, integrations, technical enhancements, and AMS support projects.
• The candidate will play a key role in solution design, technical assessments, development, integration, troubleshooting, and delivery across multiple SAP platforms. This role requires strong technical capabilities along with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional and global teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in SAP IS-U FSM implementation and AMS support projects
• Work closely with functional and technical teams for solutioning and development activities
• Conduct technical assessments, design workshops, and requirement analysis
• Review, prepare, and maintain technical specifications and documentation
• Develop, configure, and enhance SAP FSM modules and integrations
• Support end-to-end delivery and technical issue resolution
• Collaborate with global stakeholders and project teams

Required Skills & Experience

SAP FSM Technical Skills

• Strong experience in SAP FSM development and enhancement
• Checklist template design and development
• Understanding of Planning & Dispatching, Activity Management, and Service Call processes
• Enhancement of FSM components including:

1. UDFs (User Defined Fields)
2. UDOs (User Defined Objects)
3. Backend integrations using enhancement techniques

• Business Rule creation and configuration
• Good understanding of inbound and outbound integrations between SAP FSM and SAP systems

SAP IS-U Integration Experience

Hands-on experience in designing, developing, and supporting integrations between SAP IS-U and SAP FSM for:

• Service Orders

1. Installation
2. Replacement
3. Disconnection/Reconnection

• Meter-related processes
• Device Management activities
• Technical Master Data synchronization including:

1. Connection Objects
2. Premise
3. Device Locations

SAP IS-U Functional Exposure

Experience working with the following SAP IS-U components:

• DM (Device Management)
• SM (Service Management)
• PM/CS (Plant Maintenance / Customer Service)
• Basic understanding of Billing & Invoicing

Proaxia FSM Connector Experience

• Checklist template configurations including Posting and Prefilling
• Strong knowledge of Proaxia IDoc types
• Troubleshooting IDocs, Web Services, and Proaxia middleware issues
• Experience working with BADIs for enhancements
• Monitoring inbound and outbound queues between SAP ECC/S4 HANA and FSM

SAP Technical Skills

Strong hands-on experience in:

1. ABAP
2. CDS Views
3. OData Services
4. BADI
5. BAPI
6. RFC
7. SAP enhancement frameworks and integration technologies

Additional Requirements

• Experience in troubleshooting production and support issues
• Ability to analyze existing business processes and identify improvements
• Experience in system testing, QA activities, and end-user training
• Flexible to work on both Implementation and AMS projects
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Must have worked on at least 2 full lifecycle SAP FSM implementation projects
• Immediate joiners are highly preferred

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA environments
• Exposure to utility industry projects
• Experience in global project delivery environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
