Project Highlights
- We are seeking a QA/Test Engineer to support end-to-end quality assurance for web and mobile applications.
- The project focuses on ensuring functional accuracy, usability, and performance of business-critical applications through structured test planning, execution, and reporting.
- The role involves close collaboration with development and product teams to deliver stable, high-quality releases across platforms.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Perform functional, regression, and smoke testing for web and mobile applications.
- Design, review, and execute detailed test cases based on business and technical requirements.
- Identify, log, track, and verify defects using standard defect-tracking tools.
- Validate application workflows, UI/UX behavior, and cross-browser/device compatibility.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
- Participate in test planning, test strategy discussions, and release sign-offs.
- Conduct basic database validation to ensure data integrity and accuracy (good to have).
- Perform API testing to validate request/response, data accuracy, and error handling (good to have).
Requirements
- Experience in Web and Mobile Application Testing.
- Strong understanding of test case creation, execution, and defect lifecycle.
- Hands-on experience with manual testing methodologies and QA best practices.
- Familiarity with database testing concepts and SQL queries (good to have).
- Exposure to API testing using tools like Postman or similar (good to have).
- Good analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment and meet tight delivery timelines.
