Detailed Description of Duties:

• Develop and maintain databases according to specifications.
• Design, implement, and maintain unit tests for database programs (e.g., SQL).
• Document work clearly to share knowledge within the team.
• Quickly respond to and resolve production and development database issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database performance, capacity, replication, and distributed data challenges.
• Design data models and translate them into physical database structures.
• Install and maintain database software, ensuring optimal configuration.
• Manage database backup, recovery, and security of data and structures.
• Develop database procedures, triggers, and SQL scripts for development teams.
• Manage database changes across Development, QA, and Production environments.
• Assist in defining and implementing database standards and best practices.
• Monitor databases for errors and proactively perform problem resolution.
• Design and implement highly available, scalable production database systems.
• Write complex SQL queries, triggers, and stored procedures.
• Configure database network connectivity.
• Work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively in a team.
• Communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing.
